Sometime before 5 am, we are back to our room after the Rishabha-vahana darshan…

Here’s a quick photo tour from around 5 am to 8 am…

A blue-black tinge comes up in the sky…. Hint of dawn… First glimpse of Arunachala hill…

Around 6-45 am or so, we go to the Ashran, listen to Veda Parayana…

7:15 am…After some nice breakfast (idlis, uppuma, sambar), life feels real good…

Walking towards the back of the Ashram, we notice that the canal has a good flow of water….Thanks to the recent rains… The little cottage-like structures on the right of the picture are the Samadhis of Muruganar and other sages…

The Sun is up now… We go for a short walk up the hill… Sit down and gaze at the hill…

    Kamesh ji,

How beautifully you described the festive atmosphere there at Sri Arunachala!! Reading itself makes a thrill run in the spine. Did you attend and photograph the ‘Deepam’ ceremony both at Sri. Arunachala and at Sri.Ramanasramam? Please post the pics/video, if you have.

With lots of love and reverence,

    Shival🙂
